Hey guys! It's Jessie Marie, here with another amazing find. So, before we get to this little gem I got from Amazon I just want to briefly mention that I am not usually a book person. I do not enjoy reading whatsoever. BUT, I do enjoy doing work books, journals, self help books, etc..  I'm a mom of 4. I survived a toxic and abusive marriage and relationship of over 13 years of my life. I have been through every single up and down that you could possibly be in. I have gotten several of these books before but they just never got any use out of them. (We won't get into all that) When I received this book I instantly thought it looked like an amazing and truly transformative tool for couples.  It's called, One Question A Day To Stay Close and Curious: A Couple's Journal for a Lifetime of Love ❤️ I was a little bummed that I had this amazing work book sitting in front of me but nothing to really do with it. I have recently started seeing an ex boyfriend again a...

I personally suffer from several medical conditions; both physical and mental. I also suffer from what is known as "medical trauma" - considered to be a patient's psychological and  physiological response to a negative/traumatic experience in a medical setting. It is considered a form of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I find it an overwhelming and exhausting fight to find a healthy balance when it comes to my health in general. It's always like one c...

Before I share this what I believe to be a truly life changing and amazing article and change in the battle against the opioid epidemic; Let's define SUD (substance abuse disorder) Substance use disorder (SUD) is a treatable mental disorder that affects a person’s brain and behavior, leading to their inability to control their use of substances like legal or illegal drugs, alcohol, or medications. Now let's talk about mental health illnesses; mental illnesses result from problems with the communication between neurons in the brain. In easy terms this just explains that mental health conditions and SUD both effect the BRAIN 🧠!!! There are chemical imbalances in ones brain that can cause and effect these disorders. In order to balance the brain receptors medication is used.  So, anyways; this is an article about how Canada 🇨🇦 attacks the heroin epidemic WITH HEROIN!  Yes, legal heroin. Read the article! Food for thought? Should it be legalized in the United States? And would t...
